When you have a specific goal in mind, it keeps you on fire and motivated to stay on track.
When you have a particular trip, event or party in mind, work toward that. You will have a concrete date to look forward to. It’s more realistic to stay focused on eating healthy and getting fit when you’re excited to look good or feel good for something specific.
