Losing the baby weight is not easy, especially considering that few weight loss programs include the essential nutrients for breastfeeding moms. The digital director at Parents.com asked me to come into their NYC studios to film for their Fit Pregnancy brand. We filmed a Facebook Live, where I demonstrate a few filling and super easy recipes to fit perfectly into a new mom’s hectic lifestyle, while still getting the nutrients, such as omega 3, ensuring that baby is also healthy and happy.

You can watch me prepare my Mint & Blueberry Brain Power Salad, Princess’s Spiced Smoothie and Apple Cinnamon Healthy Dessert. These are recipes I especially love. Not only are they quick and easy to prepare, but they are full of flavor and really satisfying! Best of all, I reveal a cool ingredient that help curb sugar cravings.

While preparing these dishes, I discuss:

  • How you can stop stressing about dropping your baby weight
  • How I overcame the challenges to balancing a healthy, active lifestyle with a hectic Mom/Business woman lifestyle
  • The benefits of the spices and ingredients I use for nursing moms
