Balancing a demanding career as a single mom, Michele’s habit of popping into drive-thrus and restaurants and binging on quick meals started to take its toll. While the instant gratification of a McDonald’s cheeseburger and Diet Coke seemed appealing in the moment, it resulted in excessive weight gain, depleted energy levels, and regret over her choices. Dieting was never her thing, which made signing up for Noom appear promising. However, the program ultimately fell short in delivering the health reset she anticipated and she returned back to the bad habits she needed to change. When Michele reached out to Masala Body, she was desperate for guidance and a mentor to help her set goals and achieve them once and for all.
By joining my 8-Week Slim Down Jumpstart program and engaging in tailored online weight loss coaching, Michele's relationship with food underwent a profound transformation. Within a mere 8 weeks, she shed 11 pounds, trimmed 2.5 inches from her bust, 4 inches from her waist, and an impressive 2.75 inches from her thighs!
Understanding that her stressful work schedule wouldn't ease up, Michele took charge of the situation.
With Masala Body’s guidance, Michele:
- Spent more time in the produce section of the grocery store and pulled from her personal garden of fresh ingredients.
- Applied simple meal prep strategies such as strategically planning nutrient-dense, protein-packed meals ahead of time.
- Satisfied cravings with tons of protein more options during snacks and meals.
- Learned healthier options when eating out and successfully avoided drive-thrus, even on her busiest days.
Michele shares her experience working with an online weight loss coach
“THIS PROCESS IS EASIER KNOWING PROTEIN IS THE KEY INSTEAD OF COUNTING CALORIES. I FIND THAT I'M ALWAYS TRYING TO MAKE THE BEST CHOICE POSSIBLE.”
Though Michele had previously dreaded and avoided meal prep, Masala Body taught Michele efficient methods and easy recipes to simplify meal preparation so she could avoid countless hours cooking. Michele applied simple strategies like cutting and storing pre-cut vegetables in accessible containers for a better chance of avoiding unhealthy choices, or buying pre-cut options for an even simpler option. Michele reached for her individually packed and frozen nutrient-rich smoothies instead of cookies and opted for cinnamon tea instead of Diet Coke. She ate protein-packed meals 3x a day, and slimming grains in replacement of unhealthy carbs to significantly contribute to her improved sense of health and satisfaction.
“PROTEIN MORE HAS HELPED ME FEEL THE DIFFERENCE. I FOUND I WAS CONSTANTLY DETERMINING WHERE I COULD FIT IN PROTEIN.”
Michele's Online Weight Loss Coaching Results
After the 8 weeks wrapped up, Michele found she was more mindful of her choices and finds that she's more conscious of the kinds of foods she’s putting into her body. She now dines out less frequently, but when she does, she opts for more intelligent choices. Despite her dislike of diets, she’s found success by adopting a health-focused lifestyle that accommodates occasional indulgences, slip-ups, and setbacks. While she hasn’t reached her final objective yet, she’s making significant progress on her now sustainable weight loss journey.
“I CAN SEE CHANGES I'M DOING EVERYDAY.”
