At 54, Eva found herself tired and had seen the scale rise 20 pounds since she was 40. Hormone changes along with the stressful demands of being a working mom left little time for her. Between long hours at the pharmacy and attending her kids' events, cooking was rushed and often not the healthiest.
Eva wanted more self-confidence, didn’t want to feel gross in her clothes, and to be a better role model for her daughter. She wanted to feel more energetic, instead of feeling so fatigued.
She tried popular weight-loss programs like Jenny Craig, Noom, Keri, and Weight Watchers, but they left her starving, hating the points counting, and with no clear guidance on blood sugar spikes.
Being a pharmacist, she understood the risks (and expenses) of neglecting her weight; she had seen thousands of dollars a month patients were paying for medications related to weight and insulin resistance.

By enrolling in my 8-Week Slim Down Jumpstart program and receiving personalized online weight loss coaching, Eva underwent a transformative journey. In just 8 weeks, she dropped from a size 10 to a size 8, lost 2.5 inches from her bust, 0.5 inches from her waist, and 2 inches from her thighs.
Rather than resorting to unhealthy choices for momentary satisfaction, she’s embraced a new perspective. Drawing on her medical background as well as the insights, strategies, and goals we developed together, Eva developed a customized tool belt for weight loss. Now, when Eva cooks, she follows the personalized guidelines that were customized for her busy schedule and demanding family life. She’s more conscious of her food choices and the options she has, are planned around the nutrients and foods her body needs for energy. She focuses on larger breakfasts to kick start her day, incorporating more protein and vegetables into her diet, and eating healthier complex carbs in moderation. She’s ditched the fries, supplementing nutrient-rich salad with blood sugar balancing dressing or high fiber broccoli, both which help her stay more full and lose weight.

Eva had no interest in adhering to a strict rulebook that left her feeling unsatisfied. Instead, she’s gained the knowledge needed to make wholesome choices and simple changes that could be integrated into a manageable routine. As a result, her jeans fit more loosely, and her sense of discouragement has vanished. Her current diet includes more food than ever before, and the nutritious combinations she eats provide lasting satisfaction with weight loss results. Though Eva learned that she really could lose weight after 40, more importantly, she can serve as a role model for her daughter, embodying both a confident mindset and good health as a working mom.
