I personally lost 40 pounds after trying every diet under the sun. After years of yo-yo dieting, fad workouts, and useless supplements, I lost the weight and it stayed off for over ten years – without counting calories, measuring portion sizes, or feeling like I had to be in the army to get the body I wanted. I saw my abs and felt confident wearing a bikini – AFTER having two kids and now into middle age!

I struggled with my weight from the time I was a child. Because of this, I thought my genes were holding me back from ever feeling confident in a fitted dress or wearing a bathing suit without a cover-up.
But despite wanting to be thinner, I didn’t want to deprive myself of food I love, and didn’t have time to spend hours in the gym.
After I had 2 kids, I worked in one of the most demanding careers out there - management consulting for a top 4 consulting firm in NYC. Every week I was jumping on planes and trains to new locations, working 12+ hour days and staying in hotels for multiple nights of the week. I had no routine, no extra time, and my day-to-day diet was all over the place.
When I came home, I wanted to spend every free moment with my kids and my husband. But I had no energy to do fun things with my family, like go to the park or go for a hike. And I was frustrated because I couldn’t fit into any of the clothes in my closet, and I didn’t want to buy a size up!
I didn’t feel sexy around my husband. Worst of all, I didn’t feel comfortable in my own skin.
I felt like even though I was successful in my professional life, I couldn’t figure out how to translate it to my body. I desperately wanted how I felt inside to be reflected on the outside.
This wasn’t the life I imagined for myself. Something needed to change.
With my schedule, I didn’t have hours to spend running on the treadmill every day or planning every single meal. I had to figure out a way to create a sustainable diet for myself that was easy to maintain, enjoyable to eat, kept me nourished, and helped me lose weight without spending hours at the gym.
I have a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley. Using what I know about how the body processes food, I conducted research on nutrition, body health, and diets across the globe to discover what meals and foods could provide sustainable weight loss.

I experimented and developed my own recipes, modified the ones I grew up with, and made small changes to what I was eating.
The recipes I created were easy to prepare and tantalizing. Everything I ate tasted so delicious, yet I was starting to lose weight. It felt like I was tricking my body into shedding pounds.
The weight came off faster than I could have imagined. Soon, I discovered I could fit back into my skinny jeans. After a few more weeks, I tried on a new fitted dress and saw that my belly wasn’t jutting out like a fanny pack. Then finally, I dared to try on a new bikini and found that I had the svelte legs, trim hips, and visible abs – yes, abs! – that I had always dreamed of possessing.
These days, I love going shopping for cute clothes again. I have energy to play tag with my kids in the park, take them hiking, and venture down the ski slopes.
I feel and look more confident, polished, and in-control which has skyrocketed my career and income.
I feel sexier around my husband and comfortable in my own skin. I can even wear a bikini comfortably for the first time in my life! It’s so fun going to the beach with my family now!
