dried black beans, sorted and rinsed

diced onion

garlic cloves, whole

bay leaf

tablespoon
salt
rosemary, sage, thyme, carrots, celery

Instructions
You don’t need to pre-soak the beans. Just put them into the crock pot with the other ingredients.
Cook on high for at least 3 hours or on low for at least 5 hours.
If the water evaporates, add more to prevent the beans from burning.
